The strategy of our Research Group for Business Informatics and Software Engineering is the cooperation with different enterprises and organizations. Within these different cooperation programs, our students get opportunities to do internships or to apply for theses. As a part of the degree courses, we offer the course "practical software development” (“Praktische Softwareentwicklung”), which is a course for students to work on a project in a team.
Due to this network, we are able to identify excellent graduates and we have the possibility to put these graduates in contact with our cooperating partners. Moreover, we involve many enterprises in our research work. Within research projects, those enterprises contribute to a knowledge and technology transfer.
If you are interested in a cooperation like described above, you can contact Prof. Dr. Stefan Eicker. If your request does not match with our competencies, we can place you to the Institute for Computer Science and Business Information Systems or to the Institute for Business and Economic Studies (IBES).
